Visit to Sericulture Development Center
Khopasi, Kavre
We, the students (Grade 10) of Jagat Mandir Secondary School were taken to the Sericulture Development Centre located at Khopasi, Kavre. We left the school at around 10 am for the destination. We travelled in the bus for around 1 hour. We clicked many photos in the bus. Most of us were busy using mobile phones. The weather was very hot that day. We were all sweating due to the hot temperature. I was clicking pictures in the bus. I also captured some comedy pictures of my friends. And finally, we reached to our destination. We reached there at around 11:30 am.
Then we were shown the eggs of silkworm in which I got to know that yellow eggs are unfertilized eggs whereas the blackeggs are fertilized eggs. Then we went to see the farm of mulberry trees. Next we clicked some group photos. Then, we were shown the smoker where the eggs are kept to be hatched. We were shown the place where larvae were fed. We even saw the machine with the help of which the silk thread is produced. Then we were taken to the class to get more informed regarding the life cycle of silk worm where we got to know various things. We got to know that silkworm performs the complete like cycle. Eggs’ laying is the first stage of life cycle of silkworm in which female silkworm lays about 300 pin head sized eggs. Then comes the larval stage which is the non-reproductive stage of the insect.

      MY EXPERIENCE IN JAGAT MANDIR My First day at jagat mandir was from grade 2. At first day I was so unhappy and Shy beacause I was came from village.From class 2 to now I am in grade 10 and it is my last month with JM family. And I sure that I will miss this School and never gone forget this. Now also I stell remember that our grade 2 class teacher Maynuka mam told me that (Boine chello car ma ahne dai baney goru ma) because I was too weak on study and sister was not weak. And in grade 3 4 5 6 and 7 was the best movement and with unforgettable days with my friends. Then we wear in grade 8 and I  was stell weak on study and to me study was not interested.                                                             Tihar Every people know that Tihar is second main festival of Nepal and every Nepali people.My tihar festival was very nice and well. We family used do pray to god. We all family worship crow, dogs, and cow. The 1st day of tihar was kaag tihar which is know as crow festival. We family gave food to crow.     Second day of tihar was kukur tihar.I celebrate kukur tihar by giving food to dogs , putting flower and putting tika. And giving many tasty food and meats. Third day was Laxmi Puja.Which all people used  to worship laxmi god.
